One of the oldest exploration hulls still in active service, Old Compass has been refitted twice but never replaced — her crew insist no newer Pathfinder hull handles quite like her.
She continues to chart the slower, less glamorous surveys further-flung vessels skip past, and has quietly catalogued more minor systems than any other ship in the fleet.
