The crew of the UFN Phoenix were tasked with the recovery of an UFN datapad from a TSN convoy transiting through nearby space.

The crew moves to intercept the TSN convoy and obtained the datapad after supporting with a random attack.

Datapad data is then sent to FC COMMODORE SMARTY for analysis.

On completion of the handover of the datapad, SMARTY also mentioned a weird signal coming from nearby - which turned out to be UFN Gigantus.

Additionally, it is noted that the crew was able to make contact with the long lost statIon UFN Gigantus. They also made contact with the AI system known as SAS and her "children"

After analysis by HQ, details of an immediate attack on an ITG base (Colony 2784) led the crew to provide support to repel the attackers.

The crew then learned of a large base in the south of the region. The new enemy - THE DARKNESS - had set up a forward staging base and it posed an immediate threat to the crew.

On arrival, the crew was successful in scanning the base identifed as The Cave - a Darkness stronghold. This also resulted in the recovery of a security key that could be very useful in future.
